Friday Flutter Report 12.19

One thing really does lead to another

This week was a strong flutter.

If you’re new here, each week I’m exploring how one small action can change my life.

This week, I went to a candlelight pottery class and, as a result, have a new group chat with some new connections!

My friend and I really wanted a way to relax after work and this pottery class sounded like the perfect fit. We chose a community table and a few strangers joined us at our table. We immediately started talking and learned we share similar interests and are all looking to find some winter hobbies. The class turned into equal parts creative time and social time (the perfect mix in my opinion). Rather than let the connection end with the class, we exchanged numbers and are planning some activities for the new year!

I know not every action will lead to a positive result, but I do know that you can’t have a positive result if you don’t take any action. Let this be evidence that if you put yourself out there and start doing activities that resonate with you, you will meet great people and find more experiences to bring you joy 🦋
