Friday Flutter Report 12.12
It’s a stretch
What a wild week! Apparently “let’s circle back after the holidays” is not happening this year and it’s very much “let’s get it all done before the break.” Which, if I’m being honest, is kind of nice. I don’t want to come back to work after a delightful break to all the work we pushed off. Anyway, all of that to say that personal growth wasn’t as strong this week. HOWEVER, I have been working on something that I’m really enjoying 👇
Stretchhhhhhhhhh (and hold it)
I am chronically inflexible. Doesn’t matter if it’s my hamstrings or my back or my toes, my muscles don’t like to stretch. I am determined to fix this though!! Not by just casually trying to touch my toes, but holding my stretches for at least two (2) minutes. Seriously, I pull my timer out and everything. I even signed up for a Yin style yoga class where we held the poses for what seemed like an eternity. BUT LET ME TELL YOU I slept SO well that night. I was KO’d for a solid 8 hours. I haven’t been doing this long enough to really have any improvements in my flexibility, but I will report back in a month (that just seems like a reasonable amount of time to improve flexibility?) and reflect on:
am I more flexible and
does better flexibility improve my life
